Stepanavan Dendropark, also known as Sochut Dendropark named Edmon Leonovich, is located in the Lori Province, in the village of Gyulagarak, 12 km from the town of Stepanavan. This park was founded in 1931 by Polish engineer-forester Edmon Leonovich. The area is about 35 hectares, of which 17.5 hectares is a natural forest, and 15 hectares are ornamental trees. The Stepanavan Dendropark consists of deciduous forest and ornamental plantings with avenues of Lime, and wild sourced specimens of Juglans, Malus, Populus and Pyrus. Most specimens were acquired from other botanic gardens as part of international exchange programmes with the Botanic Garden in Tbilisi (Georgia), Kiev (Ukraine), Nikitski, (Crimea, Ukraine), Leningrad and Moscow Central (Soviet Union) as well as the Far East. Specimens were also obtained further afield from Germany, France, Portugal, China and the United States. There are now more than 500 introduced species.
In 1998, the Stepanavan Dendropark was designated as a special nature protection zone.

Անհնար է նկարագրել այս հրաշք բնության գեղեցկությունը բառերով։ Ես անցած ամռանն եմ եղել Դենտրոպարկում ու շատ տպավորված եմ։ Համոզված եմ Հայաստանի ամենագեղեցիկ ու հեքիաթային վայրերից մեկն է։ Խորհուրդ եմ տալիս հատկապես տուրիստներին , գտնվելով Հայաստանում անպայման այցելել ու վայելել բնության այս հրաշքը։15242978289709_069bc285d78d4a500390d59bf822cba4.jpg15242978468137_be8cbe7a1c3a70c7e4dde3642d5d9947.jpg15242978570665_3b26379c5a9ff0ef1efe8c8b8fc9d809.jpg15242978824511_83118045b46dd3a5d55bfc12d734c5e1.jpg15242978899119_05bcd0308bb39445919d796b084d49d7.jpg
