Dried fruit production in Armenia has been a tradition for centuries, and "Armenian Dried Fruit" itself speaks of quality and confidence. It is a well-known fact that growing fruits / vegetables in Armenia and their various products (dried fruits, jams, compotes, etc.) are significantly different from fruit / vegetables grown in other countries in terms of flavor, aroma and taste. According to scientific studies, such positive properties of fruits are primarily due to Armenia's geographical location, natural climate, abundance of sunlight, high mountain water availability and a number of other important factors that create almost perfect conditions for apricot, peach, pear, apple, for growing black and red plums, as well as other fruits.
Today Armenian dried fruits are consumed not only in Armenia but also abroad. World markets are evolving, demanding, sensitive to quality, and most importantly requiring a steady supply of large volumes.
